About The Team

This is a newly formed team which owns identity experience for device access. Our team’s vision is to extend the Okta Identity services to the corporate devices, to own device identity and to extend it from desktop login to accessing applications. We delight our users by giving them easy, secure and convenient passwordless access to their machine and by extending that experience when they access resources on their machine.

About The Role

We are looking for a passionate and fast learner software engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing software development in the Windows platform. The role includes the following responsibilities:

 

  • Participate in a fast paced, agile team of engineers, product, design and QA
  • Design and develop applications and services on Windows. Implement unit/functional tests and end-end tests
  • Review software design and peer's code, address bugs, fix production issues

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience developing and debugging on Windows
  • Hands-on experience in writing C++ or C# code
  • Experience with debugging tools such as Windbg or Sysinternal
  • Experience working in an agile software development team leveraging continuous integration and deployment practices

Nice to Haves: 

  • Experience with Windows internals, Windows interprocess communication (COM, Pipes, RPC, Windows Sockets)
  • Any exposure to Identity and Access Management protocols and architecture 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
