IT Systems Engineer


Our Endpoint Engineers are responsible for building and maintaining a secure, stable, and optimally-performing endpoint environment across our global presence. Key responsibilities include image development and maintenance, endpoint configuration, security and policy, endpoint standards, and technical solution design and implementation. in this role you will be called upon to display initiative toward improvement and optimization. Our ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience managing desktop technologies (imaging, configuration, infrastructure, scripting, etc.), experience with Microsoft and Linux technologies, excellent documentation, communication, and project management skills, and aspires to join a high-performance team of technical enthusiasts providing quality customer service and effective technical solutions, in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.



  • Operational responsibility for the endpoint management infrastructure.
  • Design and implement technology solutions for internal customers and participate in the testing and evaluation of new technologies.
  • Work with the IT Engineering Manager to build and execute the vision and strategy for the Windows and Linux endpoint environment, including emerging technology, new technical solutions, software, and hardware.
  • Contribute as a subject matter expert or technical resource for projects to deploy various technologies.
  • Design and create reports within management systems for strategic decision making (licensing, security, patch/vulnerability, asset intelligence, fleet health).
  • Assist the operation of a secure and optimized infrastructure by maintaining PC health, through the deployment of client patches and application updates, and reporting thereof.
  • Identify, remediate, and report on security alerts (viruses, malware, compliance, etc.).
  • Strategize, advise, implement, and support strategic end-user computing solutions, as assigned.
  • Document technical problems, resolutions, and processes for assigned tasks and projects.
  • Key contributor to the operational effectiveness of the Windows and Linux endpoint infrastructure, architecture, and deployment.
  • Resolve escalated tickets from Service Desk team.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to IT team members.
  • Lead or participate on a variety of cross-functional teams to proactively address support issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes, as well as generate innovative approaches and solutions to recurring tasks or trending issues.
  • Mitigate risk and provide consistency and dependability by adhering to policies and procedures for change and incident management.
  • Create and maintain thorough documentation for all endpoint solutions, code, configurations and processes.
  • Utilize strong organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Provide consistent follow-up on incidents/changes/tasks until final objectives are completed.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 - 6 years of directly relevant experience desired
  • Support/Administration of Windows /10 and Linux in a large PC environment managed via centralized administration tools.
  • We will consider candidates with relevant IT industry certifications (ITIL, MCSA, MCITP, MCTS, A+, etc).
  • Experience utilizing Windows endpoint management software, specifically with regard to tasks such as software package delivery and the creation of collections, queries, and reports. (necessary for this role. Reworded)
  • Competency with scripting languages, including PowerShell, VBScript, Perl and batch files.
  • Experience and comfort working within the Windows Registry.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills, specifically technical documentation.
  • Experience in defining/generating reports and metrics.
  • Ability to travel.
