IT Technical Project Manager

 Position Description:

You are a seasoned Technical Project Manager who loves to lead enterprise-scale technical Salesforce implementation projects for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Services.  You have worked with Engineering/Sales/Marketing/Order Management/Customer Success teams before and you have solid agile implementation experience.  You love project management, you’re technical, and you thrive on implementing technology that brings real value to the business.  You are obsessed with being the best scrumaster in the company and you have a reputation for excellent Agile practices.  High quality code is something you take personally and you like to measure and answer questions with data. Challenges and complexity motivate you. You are persistent. Your communication is clear; when you explain something, people get it. You deliver. Your projects succeed and you exemplify grace under pressure. Bonus points for working in a public company under SOX guidelines

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Delivering multiple highly organized projects running simultaneously
  • Leading all aspects of a sprint: planning, daily standups, QA, UAT to launch
  • Driving all project activity between IT, development teams, and the business, including monitoring internal & vendor dependencies and resolving problems proactively to ensure things are on time
  • Micro-managing or escalating when people need to be held to account and running interference when people need space to get stuff done
  • Anticipating risk, removing obstacles, and alleviating friction that impedes progress
  • Collecting key project metrics as part of project execution
  • Communicating status to program leads
  • Promoting continuous improvement
  • Asking for & giving feedback to encourage an open dialogue & transparency

Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 3-5 years experience in technical IT project management implementing software packages and features, including complex integrations between systems, preferably in a mostly/entirely SaaS application stack Salesforce experience is a must.
  • At least 2 years experience in IT at a SaaS technology company
  • At least 2 years experience driving IT project & SDLC/release management for enterprise-scale Salesforce org(s).
  • At least 3 years direct experience with Jira, preferably a Jira Admin.
  • Fluent with software design principles, change management, solid testing practices, and IT release cycles
  • Passionate about Agile principles
  • Conversant with regulatory compliance requirements & data privacy requirements.
