Partner Enablement Manager

Position Description: Okta is rapidly expanding and is looking to add a Partner Enablement Manager with a passion for developing enablement programs to help partner teams learn Okta. This highly visible position will work with both sales enablement, and the partner teams to build out their knowledge into Okta products and solutions, as well as to develop an effective and highly impactful communication ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a high energy individual with experience in cloud computing solution sales and curriculum design, development, and delivery. The ideal candidate will also possess strong strategic and analytical skills, and program management skills. Candidates should have strong capabilities to interact across a wide range of cross-organizational teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Training and Accreditation

  • Drive the success and implementation of the Okta partner sales accreditation program for both new and existing partners. This includes executing and refining content, scoping and implementing programs that drive adoption while working in close partnership with internal teams.
  • Plan, develop, and design training materials to create optimized learning experiences.
  • Define appropriate training cadence, and deliver high-quality online and/or onsite training to meet the needs of the business.

Content and Execution

  • Lead with a data driven approach to identify gaps and provide recommendations.
  • Coordinate with Okta’s Partner Succes Manager, and Partner Community Manager to build and drive content for partner enablement in Okta Partner Community.
  • Review, create, and update partner facing sales collateral. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience in sales or partner enablement, or a similar sales and channel supporting role, preferably in high-tech.
  • Proven track record of scoping, building and executing integrated partner sales enablement programs, including program management.
  • Understanding of tiered models, SaaS products, and IT networking channel sales would be valuable.
  • Proven experience as a trainer, and developing training curricula.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail required.
  • Self-starter with an ability to lead and follow-through projects.
  • Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment and less defined organization required.
  • Outstanding time management skills, self-directed with an ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks required.
  • Knowledge of Cornerstone as a Learning Management System is a most.
  • Basic skills in video editing, and formatting are relevant, as these are needed for updating and creating partner online content for Partner Accreditations.
  • Ability and willingness to accommodate 30% travel required.
