Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A

U.S. Remote

Okta is experiencing significant growth and is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A  who will be a key player in supporting Okta's financial planning processes and providing analytical support to help drive the company's continued growth.

The ideal candidate for this role has 5+ years of FP&A / Accounting experience. We are looking for highly motivated team players who have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work cross functionally, as well as independently. This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking experience within a dynamic FP&A organization, as the subject matter expert on SaaS revenue, RPO, billings, and collections and with exposure to executives as a key finance partner.

This position can be remote but candidate must be willing to work Pacific Time Zone hours.


  • Support company planning processes for all corporate short and long-term forecasts covering the financial statements and key metrics
  • Own the forecasting, tracking, and presenting of subscription revenue
  • Play a key role in compiling and reviewing key order management drivers with a focus on aligning the format/content with our evolving business model
  • Maintain and improve detailed financial models that track and analyze key metrics and their impact on the company's overall performance
  • Work closely with the accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate financial closes
  • Key member of the team delivering flawless earnings process
  • Must demonstrate analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and a command of the details
  • Apply advanced PowerPoint skills to ensure that Finance creates visually impactful slides for executive and Board-level presentations
  • Leverage and improve current systems to increase productivity and accuracy of the FP&A team
  • Assist with and manage frequent ad hoc projects to support management and business decisions

Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • 5+ years of FP&A / Accounting experience 
  • Experience with SaaS revenue and billings
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel (or other spreadsheet software) to analyze data and find answers.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint (or other presentation software) to build and format information and data slides. 
  • Working knowledge of finance systems (for example Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of financial modeling and analytics.
  • Able to summarize and communicate complex financial information for both technical and non-technical consumers (such as financial peers, business leaders, and Okta leadership).
  • Comfortable in environments with shifting priorities and deadlines. 
  • Anaplan experience is a plus




"((Colorado, New York City and Washington only*) Minimum salary of $103,000/year + bonus, commission, or variable comp (depending on role) + equity + benefits)”
