Job Purpose: Okta is rapidly expanding and is looking for a Sales Enablement Senior Specialist with a passion for developing sales teams and related curriculum for a growing sales organization. You will play a key role in training new hires and designing enablement programs for the Sales Development team to build industry knowledge and sales skills. The ideal candidate is an energetic individual with experience in high volume SaaS solution sales and can work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take a leading role in onboarding new hires by ensuring new SDRs are equipped with appropriate knowledge, tools, resources, and training schedules
- Facilitate and lead Sales training classes (in-person, virtually, or recorded)
- Track, manage and report training attendees' progress and completion rates according to assigned learning plans based on tenure, sales segment, and skill set
- Develop and deliver a range of enablement activities to educate Sales Development Representatives on products, sales techniques, industry knowledge, sales process, time management, and effective use of resources
- Work cross functionally to expand and execute a training curriculum for all Sales Development Representatives, including remote employees (US & Internationally based)
- Provide guidance around content and structure for a variety of training methods, including eLearning, online videos, instructor led training, and interactive learning
- Partner with and support Sales Development Leadership in driving measurable, improved sales performance within their teams by determining training needs
- BA/BS degree required
- 3+ years experience with SaaS solutions
- 1+ year experience in driving high volume lead qualification in a business development or sales development role
- Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area
- Highly motivated, self-starter attitude
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Excellent critical thinking and listening skills
- Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute and follow-up in a timely manner and anticipate problems and roadblocks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Personality, confidence, and polish to engage upstream with managers, downstream with the field, and across business units with Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Sales and other groups within the company
- Ability to travel up to 25%
