We are on the lookout for an accomplished Principal Digital Experience UX Strategist who has a deep passion for elevating digital interactions and enhancing overall user satisfaction.


The Role:

The Principal Digital Experience UX Strategist will assume a leadership role in steering the user interaction and experience strategies for This individual will leverage their advanced strategic insight, profound digital expertise, and innovative design thinking to optimize user engagement and experience. They will spearhead collaborative initiatives, conduct intricate user research, formulate advanced strategic insights, and drive the implementation of transformative UX enhancements, ensuring that offers an intuitive and exceptional digital experience.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Digital Leadership: Lead the formulation and execution of visionary UX strategies for, ensuring the alignment with organizational objectives and customer needs.

Information Architecture and \User Research: Conduct and oversee comprehensive user research and usability studies, translating intricate insights into actionable digital experience enhancements, information architecture, and digital design systems.

Innovative Experience Mapping: Develop advanced user personas, sophisticated journey maps, and innovative experience maps, focusing on highlighting the nuances of user interactions on Utilize, develop, and standardize journey mapping methods. 

Collaboration & Implementation: Work in a cross-functional team,leading UX/UI designers, collaborating with web developers and product managers, to translate strategic recommendations into user-centric design solutions on

Prototyping & Ideation: Drive the development of innovative digital prototypes to validate strategic directions and refined design decisions for digital experiences.

Performance Metrics & Optimization: Define, monitor, and optimize high-level digital UX performance metrics on, ensuring continuous enhancement of user engagement and satisfaction.

Competitive Analysis: Lead competitive analyses of digital experiences, identifying industry trends and deriving insights to shape strategic recommendations and elevate’s user experience.

Executive Communication: Effectively communicate intricate digital strategies, research insights, and design rationales to executive stakeholders and influence organizational decision-making.


Required Skills & Experience:

Experience: 10+ years of significant experience in a senior or principal UX strategy role, specializing in digital experiences for B2B, within a tech or SaaS environment.

Portfolio: Exceptional portfolio demonstrating a profound understanding and application of strategic thinking and user-centered digital design solutions. Experience in Information Architecture, Component Design Systems, Buyer and customer Journeys.

Analytical & Strategic Skills: Advanced analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a knack for translating complex insights into transformative digital experience strategies.

Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to articulate sophisticated digital concepts and strategies effectively to diverse audiences.

Technological Proficiency: Mastery of design software, e.g.Figma, HTML/CSS, and a solid understanding of JavaScript and contemporary web technologies.

Education: A Bachelor’s or higher degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; advanced certifications in UX Strategy or Digital Experience are highly desirable.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$140,000$189,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $156,000$211,000 USD
