Senior Events Manager

Position Description:

Okta’s customers are doing some really big things. They’re transforming businesses and re-defining their industries through technology, and they’re an incredible community of advocates.

We believe there’s no better way to engage with our customers than through in-person events. We’ve established a world-class annual customer conference, Oktane, and we’re looking to make this event bigger and better every single year. We obsess over the details, we get excited about the small touches, we build experiences to delight and amaze every customer and prospective customer who attends.

It is no exaggeration to say that Oktane is the most important 2 days of the year for our company. Every single person who works at Okta is trying to build something new, something important, something long lasting. And more than anything we try to make our customers successful in what *they* try to do. So when we get our employees and our customers together in one place for a few days, it is truly exciting. We’re building a movement and a community, and our annual conference is the clearest marker every year for how far that movement has come.

There’s a lot to do for Oktane, but we’re not stopping there. We’re expanding customer events and our passion for Oktane to new unique audiences – including developers. So we need your help! The Customer Marketing team is looking for a creative, proactive, and approachable marketer to  build, develop and manage customer events of every shape and size. We want someone who shares our passion for customers, and has a proven track record in driving successful events.
