The Request Management Platform team builds unified identity and access management tools that work without the complexity and overhead experienced with traditional solutions. Our work enables users to leverage self-service workflows in interfaces like chat, mobile and web to request access to new apps and systems, reducing the burden on IT.

As a product manager, you will be focused on evolving Okta’s access requests and workflow engine to ensure identity-centric access that’s easier for administrators and better for end users. You’ll develop a nuanced understanding of the needs of Okta’s user base and growing product portfolio. 

What you’ll do at Okta:

  • Lead the prioritization and development of your product's roadmap to deliver value to our customers and the business
  • Work closely with engineers, designers and product to design and build an intuitive, extensible and best-in-class request management platform
  • Help define and execute a product vision and strategy, and be able to break a larger vision into discrete projects
  • Partner with user research to gather and synthesize customer feedback, identify pain points and deeply understand user problems
  • Define product KPIs and track the success of the features that we launch
  • Collaborate with technical leads to help drive technical decisions that match UX and product goals
  • Identify dependencies and drive meetings to effectively manage them

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have 3-5+ years experience managing a product lifecycle, and have experience building SaaS products at scale
  • Have built holistic experiences: from defining consistent UX patterns to improving the overall user experience and creating extensible patterns
  • Are comfortable working on both technical platforms and user-facing features
  • Can distill complex problems into precise, simple, and delightful solutions
  • Know how to drive use of qualitative and quantitative data to back up your product decisions as well as suggest new research
  • Are comfortable working in a remote environment
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills


  • Experience working on design and systems thinking
  • Experience building ITSM, workflow or identity-related products
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams building SaaS software 
  • Experience working in a global remote-first organization
  • Experience working with React, Figma, Heap, and Pendo
  • Are a good communicator, and enjoy interacting with people
