Okta’s vision is to be the foundation for secure connections between people and technology. Core to that vision is the Okta Integration Network, an ecosystem of SSO and Provisioning integrations built around Okta’s system of record for identities and access management product. Today the OIN includes over 5,500 application integrations to the world’s most popular applications like Google’s G Suite, Workday, Box, AWS and Slack. But we’re not stopping there.
We’re looking for an experienced product leader who can drive the strategy and execution for the next generation of Okta’s integration platform to power a broader and deeper set of integrations. We’re seeking someone with a strong technical background and experience defining and shipping infrastructure or platform products at scale. You’re an ideal candidate if you love building products for developers that deliver leverage, and are comfortable defining non-functional requirements around API design, scalability, and security. If you have built data or API integration platforms before or get excited by serverless architectures, even better.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customer facing teams, architects and other product teams to deeply understand our integration needs across the product
- Become a domain expert in integration and have a point of view on technology trends to inform product decisions and strategy
- Define short and long term roadmaps and facilitate awareness and buy-in across the broader product team
- Define functional and non-functional requirements for your roadmap
- Drive execution of your roadmap through close collaboration with your engineering partners
- Use data to deeply understand the adoption of your products and to drive fast iteration loops
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with infrastructure or platform products that serve developers
- Experience understanding and coordinating requirements across multiple groups and stakeholders
- Strong technical background that allows you to positively influence technical design and investments decisions
- Proven ability to break down and execute on complex business-critical projects according to plan
- You do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful
- Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal and written)
- 8+ years of industry experience. 5+ years of product management or related product owner or engineering lead experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience building integration products
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS products
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management protocols
