Channel Sales Manager Nordics (Stockholm, SK)

Position Description: We are looking for a dynamic strategic sales manager to lead a team of Indirect Channel Partners who are responsible for generating incremental new business within EMEA. The Channel Sales Manager will also be responsible for getting behind the channel program sales strategy and building out comprehensive territory plans for the Nordic region.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Extend Okta’s reach and incremental revenue growth through management and scaling of channel ecosystem
  • Manage 1-3 ICP including their sales leadership, Field Account Executives(AE), Pre-Sales Executives (SE), Professional Services, Customer Service and Marketing teams
  • Support the channel and their direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other resources as required
  • Ongoing mentoring and development of the channel partner sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new channel sales Account Executives and Sales Engineers on the Okta sales process methodology and enablement program
  • Conducting weekly forecast meetings and 1:1s with partners and their AEs
  • Reporting on sales activity and forecasting to Okta senior sales management
  • Consistently monitoring and inspecting sales activity and field execution
  • Quote, negotiate, and assist channel partner sales reps in closing transactions through the development of ICP lead executive-level relationships with key prospects
  • Deliver quarterly quota through engagement and incremental sales execution of channel partners
  • Work closely with extended Okta team of sales, pre-sales, field alliances, services, training, legal, renewals, finance, business operations, etc.
  • Expect travel of approximately 50-60%

Required Skills:

  • Experience in technology sales in a channel environment
  • You should be able to demonstrate ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Experience in two & three tiered and direct channel resale models
  • Knowledge of enterprise networks and applications desired
  • Background in software sales and distribution – with Software & SaaS Companies
  • Consistent track record of success in sales and marketing programs
  • Good knowledge of IDaaS market
  • Experience negotiating partner contracts
  • In-depth knowledge of Strategic Partner organisation, processes and internal operations
  • Strong and current internal network within Strategic Partner
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate complex technology simply
  • Ability to travel
  • Degree or equivalent
