Sales Development Representative, Team Leader (EMEA)

The Team Leader will manage and lead a team of SDRs, BDRs and Interns providing guidance, support and coaching for success. This challenging role requires effective communication skills at all levels plus the ability to motivate and drive the teams to exceed all targets and KPIs. You will need to instil agreed levels of discipline within the teams, regularly communicate performance progress to individuals and management plus provide support those who wish to work towards promotion within the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high performing and experienced SDR/BDR to impact pipeline gen across an entire EMEA sales development organisation. The objective of the role is to develop into a management role within 12 – 18 months.

Amongst this role’s responsibilities are the following:

  • Provide guidance and support to all new SDRs, BDRs and Interns as an onboarding partner
  • Lead the teams on enablement topics like messaging, cadence, and other prospecting skills
  • Review relevant outreach sequences, work with marketing and AEs on messaging, share with other members of the team
  • Review calls and provide feedback – perform call out sessions with individuals
  • Work with global team leaders, principle SDRs and senior SDRs and share best practices
  • Pilot and provide feedback on new SDR tools and processes
  • Improve team activity and performance by monitoring metrics and directly coaching reps
  • Provide on-going white board training sessions with the support of SEs, AEs and sales enablement
  • Provide regular and updated training on tools such as Outreach, LinkedIN, SFDC etc
  • Act as the conduit between sales development and internal functions like marketing, sales enablement, sales, and sales operations to ensure success of programs
  • Aggregate and communicate constructive feedback on campaigns, leads, training, process, and tools
  • Create pre- and post-event email campaigns for the team
  • Assist with the SDR recruitment process by interviewing and evaluating candidates
  • Cover for SDRs/BDRs when out of the office

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities:

  • Ability and willingness to mentor and coach SDRs, BDRs and Interns
  • Be passionate with a strong desire to overachieve on all KPIs
  • Motivation of the team and bringing the “Buzz” to the team
  • Must have a positive and can-do attitude
  • Must have a track record of continued success as an SDR or BDR
  • Desire to progress into a management role within 12 – 18 months
  • Ensure team are achieving SS1 and SS2
  • Lead by example
