Project Manager, Professional Services EMEA

Position Description: The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall project management and completion of professional services projects. Delivery of the projects will be within the constraints of scope, quality, time and costs in order to meet the project objectives and to achieve high customer satisfaction.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales, pre-sales and engineers to define services portion of our solution proposal
  • Manage changes to project scope, through a formal change management policy
  • Coordinate activities of project team and customer from inception through successful completion
  • Devise initial project plan, monitor the execution of various activities and coordinate any changes
  • Manage and track resource scheduling and project time utilisation
  • Track progress and report status internally and to clients throughout the project life cycle
  • Identify, analyse, and respond to project risks, as they occur
  • Lead quality acceptance activities, for each of the project milestones
  • Coordinate transition from Professional Services to on-going Support, at completion of project
  • Ensure tasks are constantly updated to reflect actual project status
  • Ensure the project is delivered within the Budget as outlined in the Statement of Work
  • Have some knowledge of the delivery of Identity Management solutions
  • Identity opportunities to position other Service delivered within the Budget as outlined in the Statement of Work
  • Have some knowledge of the delivery of Identity Management solutions
  • Identity opportunities to position other Service offerings
  • Well versed and experienced in a variety of Software Development Life Cycle processes, including Agile and Scrum
  • Passion for Customer Service
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Desire to be a part of the high paced, high energy, startup experience
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2) is preferred
  • Travel can be up to 50% at times

Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience including substantial track record of the successful management and delivery of highly complex projects and programs is required
  • The qualified candidate may have experience of working within a consulting organisation; will have strong matrix management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural environment within a (virtual) team  
  • Expertise in Business Analysis, Software Engineering and Scientific (IT) Domains  
  • Personal Qualities (Leader, Self-Motivated, Flexible, Enthusiastic and Organised)
