Todd McKinnon is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Okta. He is responsible for creating, communicating and implementing the overall vision and strategy for the company. Under Todd’s leadership, Okta has grown into the leading identity solution with hundreds of enterprise customers. Prior to Okta, Todd served as the Head of Engineering at Salesforce.com, where he helped grow the team from 15 people to more than 250, and the service from two million daily transactions to more than 150 million with industry-leading performance and reliability.

Todd also has nearly a decade of experience working in various engineering and leadership roles at PeopleSoft. Todd earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Brigham Young University and his master’s in computer science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is as a regular contributor to industry publications, including Forbes, Fast Company, Fortune and the Wall Street Journal Accelerators. Todd also serves on the Board of Directors for Family House, a not-for-profit organization that provides temporary housing to families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at the University of California-San Francisco Children’s Hospital. Todd also enjoys exercising and spending time with his family.

Frederic Kerrest is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of Okta. He is responsible for Okta’s day-to-day operations, working with employees, partners and customers to deliver on the company’s mission of leveraging the cloud to make people more productive and IT more secure. As a key member of management, Frederic helps set corporate priorities to drive success for the company and its customers.

Krista Anderson is Chief Customer Officer at Okta, charged with ensuring world-class customer support, customer success and training programs across a global customer base that spans many geographies, industries, and use cases.

Anderson brings more than 13 years of experience to Okta, delivering superior levels of adoption, loyalty and customer satisfaction for both enterprise and small business customers. Prior to joining Okta, she served as senior vice president, Customers for Life at salesforce.com, where she managed a portfolio comprising the largest and most strategic enterprise customers, including HP, Cisco, Dell and Allergan.

Krista earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Oregon. She also enjoys skiing, traveling and home remodeling and interior design projects.

Chief Product Officer, Okta

Eric Berg is a seasoned product and marketing leader with over 20 years of experience across engineering, marketing and business development for both early stage SaaS companies and high growth software businesses within larger organizations. With Okta since early 2010, he is currently focused on company and product strategy, product management, product marketing, technical marketing and platform evangelism.

Prior to Okta, Eric served as the VP of Product Management and Marketing for Apptio, the market leading SaaS provider of IT financial management solutions, the Director of Product Management at Microsoft, and the Director of Product Marketing and Business Development at Ensim. Eric also has experience working at Goldman Sachs and Intel, where he held a variety of engineering management, technical marketing and product management positions.

Eric earned his bachelor’s in electrical engineering at the University of Washington and his MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Eric also enjoys running, cycling and spending as much time in the outdoors as possible with his family.

Diane Greene

Senior Vice President, Google

Diane Greene is the leader of Google’s cloud businesses; Google Cloud, Google Technical Infrastructure, and Google Apps. She also serves on the boards of Alphabet, Intuit, Khan Academy, and MIT. Diane co-founded and was CEO of VMware from 1998-2008, taking the company public and to a $2 billion run-rate. Prior to VMware, Diane was co-founder and CEO of a low-bandwidth streaming video company, VXtreme, that was bought by Microsoft. She held engineering and management positions at SGI, Tandem, and Sybase, ran engineering for Windsurfing International, and worked as a naval architect designing ships and large ocean structure deployment systems. Diane's degrees include a B.S. in mechanical engineering, an M.S. in naval architecture, and an M.S. in computer science from the University of Vermont, MIT, and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively. Diane is married, has two children, and was the 1976 National Women's Sailing Dinghy Champion.

Claude Pierre is currently ENGIE Deputy CIO, in charge of infrastructure. He is responsible for leading the ENGIE infrastructure transformation program to enable the Group Digital transformation.

Prior to this role, Claude was CIO of the Energy Services Business line. He played a major role in building worldwide infrastructure foundations serving 60.000 users in 30 countries, rationalizing application landscape, and developing mobile solutions leveraging on Cloud based solutions. Before that Claude has held various CIO positions in the Group both in Energy and Environment business. Claude started his career in 1981 as a programming engineer in the Oil industry before joining Lyonnaise des Eaux, the French worldwide leader in Water and Waste industry, in 1990 as a project manager. He got his first role of CIO in 1996 at ELYO, which became part of what is today ENGIE.

Claude holds an engineering degree from ENSEEIHT in TOULOUSE.

Dominic Shine is Global CIO for News Corp where he is leading a major global transformation of the organisation's enterprise technology. Over the last 2 years, News Corp has moved the majority of its infrastructure to the public cloud and has rolled out several best of breed new platforms including Salesforce, Google Apps, Workday, Okta and Dropbox to its 22,000 staff worldwide, whilst saving over $150m.

Before joining News Corp, Dominic served as Group CIO of the events division of Reed Elsevier where he led a major overhaul of its Digital platforms and products and oversaw significant growth of Digital revenues in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to Reed Elsevier, he held technology leadership roles in a number of global companies in the financial sector covering Investment Banking, Asset Management and Insurance.

Barry Libenson, is the EVP, Global Chief Information Officer at Experian, accountable for Global Technology as well as the Global Software Architect team. In addition, Barry is responsible for ensuring that Experian is current on all new technology capabilities that are utilized across Experian businesses to create speed, flexibility and operating leverage.

Prior to joining Experian in the summer of 2015, Barry has an extensive background in technology holding the positon of CIO with Safeway, CIO with Land O’Lakes and CIO on Ingersoll Rand over a 15 year period. Barry started his career with Data General in systems engineering while attending and graduating from Colgate University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.

Gus Shahin is the Chief Information Officer at Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX), which is a $28B, industry-leading, Fortune Global 500 end-to-end supply chain solutions company with a global workforce of 200,000 and operations in over 30 countries.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Shahin was responsible for all customer and segment IT support, global implementations of all core supply chain IT systems, customer solution architecture and the Knowledge Management/E-learning teams.

Mr. Shahin’s IT career at Flex also includes managing the factory operations team, running the global IT deployment team and leading the mobile/consumer IT team.

Mr. Shahin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana and a master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Western Ontario.

James Fairweather

Senior Vice President of Technology and Ecommerce, Pitney Bowes Inc.

Dr. James Fairweather is the Senior Vice President of Technology and Ecommerce for Pitney Bowes. In this role, he leads key strategic technology initiatives across SaaS, Big Data, API Management, Security and Mobility. Additionally, he and his team are responsible for the development of ecommerce and parcel management product offerings. He also has accountability to deliver great user experiences across all Pitney Bowes products. James is a Senior Fellow on the Technical Ladder at Pitney Bowes, and has been with the firm for sixteen years.

Before joining Pitney Bowes, James was with Therics, Inc., a Princeton, NJ-based biotech startup focused on the commercialization of three-dimensional printing for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and tissue scaffolds.

James spent many years as a designer, fabricator, and installer for the American kinetic sculptor George Rickey.

Dr. Fairweather is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering. His thesis presented a design methodology for piezoceramic driven active structures using a combination of impedance-based modeling techniques and finite element methods. He holds twenty United States Patents and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Connecticut Science Center.

Terry has been with AWS since 2008 and leads the global partner organization which is responsible for driving the business engagement, technical enablement and go-to-market programs across AWS’ ecosystem of consulting, systems integrator, ISV, technology alliance and service provider partners. Prior to AWS, Terry was an early employee and/or founder of 7 start-up companies focused on bringing new technologies and services to the enterprise market including middleware, security appliances, consulting services and new chip designs. Terry started his career at Cambridge Technology Group and holds a BA in History from Middlebury College.

Brad Armstrong leads Slack’s business development and partnership efforts, including the Slack Fund, a seed stage investment fund focused on emerging enterprise software companies building on the Slack Platform. Prior to Slack, he spent 8 years at Salesforce.com where he served as Vice President of Strategic Business Development and was a founding member of Salesforce.com’s ISV Program and AppExchange Ecosystem. A lawyer by training, Brad began his career as a technology transactions attorney in private practice and also served as Managing Counsel of Salesforce.com.

Sean Ryan manages the Platform Partnerships teams for Facebook. He leads a global team focused on building and scaling Facebook’s enterprise solution – Facebook at Work, as well as managing its Games and its Payments Partnership efforts.

Prior to FB, Ryan was EVP/GM, Games at News Corp and earlier served as a consultant in digital goods and social media monetization, including serving as Global CEO of Live Journal, a top Russian social platform. He was previously the founder of Meez, a leading teenage-oriented, virtual world platform. Ryan earlier served as vice president of music services at RealNetworks, where he managed the music vertical after selling Listen.com/Rhapsody to Real. Prior to that, he ran business development for online game company SegaSoft Networks, spent several years at the GAP helping launch the successful Old Navy clothing line, and worked at Chemical Bank. Ryan holds an MBA from UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management and a BA from Columbia University.

Jeetu Patel is senior vice president of platform and chief strategy officer (CSO) at Box. In this role he leads Box's platform organization, driving the strategy for Box's platform business and developer relations. He also oversees Box’s corporate strategy and development organization.

Mr. Patel has more than 20 years of experience in enterprise information technology and before joining Box he was General Manager and Chief Executive of EMC’s Syncplicity business unit. He previously held leadership roles in EMC’s Information Intelligence Group, including Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to EMC, Mr. Patel was president of Doculabs, a research and advisory firm focused on collaboration and content management across a range of industries, including financial services, insurance, energy, manufacturing, and life sciences.

Mr. Patel holds a BS in Information DecisionSciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

When should I plan on arriving and departing?

Oktane16 officially kicks off on Monday, August 29 at 5:30pm with a Welcome Reception. On Wednesday, our final keynote with Adam Savage will conclude by 3:30pm.

If you are joining us for Pre-conference training, please plan on arriving in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 27.

Does Oktane attendance quality for CPE credits?

Yes - Oktane16 is an Official (ISC)2® CPE submitter. Attendees will be required to provide their (ISC)2® member number at registration and Okta will submit names directly to CPE.

CPE credits are earned for participating in educational or other activities, such as attending conferences, where members gain knowledge and skills that would benefit them to grow within their chosen profession.

What is your Cancellation / Substitution Policy?

Registration cancellations must be received in writing by 5:00 PM (PST) by July 31, 2016 to be eligible for a refund, less a $100 processing fee.

If you are unable to attend, you may substitute a colleague’s name per registration. All substitutions must be received in writing prior to Friday, August 12, 2016. All substitutions are subject to a $35 processing fee.

Please submit all cancellation and substitution requests to oktane@okta.com. For substitutions, please provide the following information for the new registrant: Name, Job Title/Position, Work Address, Work Phone Number and Email Address. A registration confirmation will be sent to the new registrant once the substitution is confirmed.
