Call for Speakers

Call for Speakers closes Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.

We’ll be in touch regarding your submission by June 5, 2026.

Due to the number of applicants each year, not every submission will be selected; however, we’re always looking for creative ways to showcase identity thought leaders. Okta may contact you about using your submitted content/speakers in a combined session with other submissions (vs a standalone session) or as part of an Okta event outside of Oktane.

Want to see a winning submission from last year? Check this one out!

  • Be straightforward: Give your submission a clear, concise title.
  • Provide details: Thorough submissions are given priority, so please be as detailed as possible.
  • Know your audience: Have a clear focus on attendees in a specific role.
Offer actionable takeaways: Attendees want to learn lessons that make a tangible impact.
  • Explain the "why": Clearly state why your presentation is interesting and what attendees will gain.
  • Show, don't just tell: Share unique applications of an Okta product and demonstrate your success with results and metrics (e.g., efficiencies, ROI).
  • Be authentic: The audience wants to hear original ideas, not a sales pitch.
  • Make it engaging: Let us know how you plan to create an interactive and memorable session.

While we review every application, to ensure your proposal receives priority consideration, please include the following:

  • Session overview: Title, abstract, outline, and a brief "elevator pitch."
  • Delivery & engagement: Let us know you plan on engaging the audience and a YouTube link to a previous speaking engagement. (If you don't have one, a short video of you explaining your session idea is perfect!)
  • Product & platform focus: Key topics and platforms covered, relevant Okta and/or Auth0 products you use
  • Target audience: the intended audience (role, industry, region)
  • Speaker participation logistics: Let us know if you are an Okta partner and if you have your company’s permission to speak

Accepted speakers (excluding sponsors and Okta employees) for a breakout session at Oktane will receive:

  • A complimentary Oktane Standard pass
  • Hotel stay for up to two nights in an Okta-selected hotel in our room block. Please note, Okta does not cover the cost of flights or ground transportation.
  • Exclusive perks and resources to help you prepare
  • The opportunity to share your unique story and grow your brand

Please email oktanespeakers@okta.com to let us know to discard your submission.
