Staying abreast of the latest in cybersecurity with IDentity Spotlight

The cybersecurity landscape is an evolving one. As technology progresses and people rely more on their digital devices to access everything from business and entertainment to financial needs, now, more than ever, we need to ensure that the data we provide online is secure.

APAC is the third highest region targeted by ransomware. Coupled with the fact that cybersecurity awareness is still maturing in the region, it is important for identity security leaders to come together to share their expertise and experiences. Through a collective effort, we hope to be able to rise against the many threats that harm not only our businesses, but our customers and the community at large.

For this reason, we’ve launched IDentity Spotlight, a bi-annual publication created to build a community of identity security leaders in APAC. This publication is far from being a one-way channel. Instead, we want to use this as a tool to connect leaders, so that it can be a place to share insights and learn from each other.

In this issue, we hear from the CTO of the Australian Football League, Rob Pickering on his perspectives of the sporting scene in the digital space. Then we have Ben King, Global VP, Customer Trust at Okta who tells us the importance of earning users’ confidence in maintaining privacy in the online world.

We’ve also taken the liberty to share a few customer success stories from known brands like NTUC Enterprise, Saitama Prefecture and Soul Machines, who have shared how the transformation of new-age security infrastructure has helped organisations improve operations and stay guard against fraudulent attacks.

As you join us in this issue, you may have some thoughts to share. This is where we want to also invite you to be a contributor. Whether it’s through opinion pieces or stories that celebrate your team’s successes in the area of cybersecurity, we want to hear from you.

Of course, no community is complete without a physical space to network and connect with one another, so look out for our networking chapters as well. Drop us a line if you’d like to be a part of the upcoming event.

Finally, we hope you enjoy reading our inaugural issue, that’s available in both digital and hardcopy by clicking on this link

Sit back, grab a coffee, and we hope to hear from you soon.
