Product Accessibility Status
Okta’s mission is to connect any user to any technology. We design, develop, and test our products with accessibility in mind so that all users can use our products, including users with disabilities, such as visual impairment, color deficiency, and hearing impairment.
To help meet our goal of inclusive and accessible design, Okta follows the internationally recognised best practises in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA to the extent possible. Okta is also aware of the newer WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard, and we are working towards meeting the requirements set forth in WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
To deliver on this commitment, we partner with a third-party accessibility testing service, train our teams to build accessible products, and continually listen to customer feedback to build products that fit your needs. For additional information on product accessibility, please contact support.
Any VPAT posted below, or anywhere else on Okta’s website, or otherwise publicly available, shall not be construed to be included in any contract, either explicitly or implicitly, in whole or in part, absent Okta’s express acknowledgement through language in the contract itself that such report or its substantive equivalent is included.
VPATs
To make it easier for companies, educational institutions, and government agencies to comply with accessibility standards, Okta provides information about how our web and mobile products currently work for people with disabilities.
The Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is a standardised form developed in partnership by the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to document a product’s conformance with key regulations of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
