Okta has named veteran legal leader Scott Morgan as its new Chief Legal Officer to lead its global legal, regulatory, governance, and government affairs functions.

Morgan’s recent experience includes more than 12 years at Splunk, where he played a pivotal role in guiding the company’s strategic growth from ~$100M in annual revenue to $5B and led its successful integration into Cisco. Earlier in his career, Morgan served as legal counsel at Autodesk and Tellabs, and he worked as an associate at law firms Morrison & Foerster LLP and Thoits, Love, Hershberger & McClean LLP. He is a recognized leader in the legal community and frequently advises senior executives and boards on artificial intelligence, governance, and leadership.
