Simon Conant

Director, Threat Intelligence

Simon is a Director in Okta's Threat Intelligence team. He draws upon more than 25 years of international experience in the fields of malware & infrastructure analysis, attribution research, networking, and information security, including several years in the Microsoft Security Response Center. He was involved in founding Microsoft's CSS Security & Internet Crime Investigation (now DCU) teams, and the International Botnet Task Force. Subsequently he has worked in threat intelligence and analysis in the financial sector, for an international law firm, was Threat Research Lead for a large social platform, and was one of the original researchers in Palo Alto Networks' Unit 42 Threat Intelligence team.
