Okta’s Identity & Mobility Forum Makes Its First Trip Down Under

Adopting innovative technology — whether it’s just now emerging or well-established — is crucial for an effective and successful business. At Okta we firmly believe companies should be able to use any technology but we find the trick is to understand how to use these tools effectively. Properly utilising new innovative tools will result in a productive staff, and ultimately, a more successful business.

Just a few years ago Australia was considered ahead of the game when it came to cloud computing, and on October 11, Okta is convening technology leaders from Australian organizations of every size and industry to discuss how we maintain that lead and edge. For the first time, Okta is bringing its Identity & Mobility Forum to Sydney this October. We’ll be looking at the technology trends gaining traction — from cloud apps, mobile devices and portals, to IoT, VR and AI — and discuss how those trends are shaping the future of our workforce. We’ll also address how organisations can bridge the “innovation gap” and take full advantage of the technology we have available at our fingertips.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with IT’s best of the best and explore the endless possibilities technology affords organisations today. I will be joined on the day with Okta’s co-founder and COO Frederic Kerrest and our product leaders to discuss and demo our integrated identity, mobility and security products. You will also hear from a number of our Australian customers — including Flinders University, TAL and Salmat — about their innovative IT strategies. They will cover everything from how to bring on the best cloud applications and enable a mobile workforce, to the importance of building a digital business. And of course they will discuss why they chose the Okta Identity Cloud as the foundation for secure connections between their people and technology.
