Highlights across Okta

Introducing Secure Identity Assessment

Secure Identity Assessment is a new solution that provides customers with tools, training and personalized support to help reduce Identity debt based on their unique needs. This offering helps customers close security gaps, learn from best practices, and strengthen their security posture.

Establishing a new Identity security standard

Okta is committing to help standardize Identity security for enterprise SaaS companies and making it easy for these standards to be widely adopted. This standard will help organizations strengthen their Identity security and make applications more secure by design.

To achieve this, we led the formation of a working group within the OpenID Foundation to deliver Interoperability Profile for Secure Identity in the Enterprise (IPSIE).

Offering secure Identity integrations

Okta is offering expanded SaaS application integrations on the Okta Integration Network (OIN) — to harden security postures, reduce operational burden, and ensure visibility and faster remediation.

Workforce Identity Cloud (WIC) highlights

Identity has become the organizational security linchpin, and threat actors know it. The majority of breaches today use compromised Identities. To address this, organizations need to adopt a unified Identity security strategy that is deeply integrated across their security tooling and tech stacks.

This quarter, we are introducing new offerings to deepen our customers' security across the spectrum of Identity — before, during, and after authentication.

Workflows is Post-Audit for FedRAMP High and authorization is expected in Q4

Okta Workflows is our no-code automation and orchestration platform for building and managing complex functions, maintaining compliance standards, and improving experience management.

It’s available to FedRAMP High and eligible FedRAMP Moderate customers now.

Announcing Extended Device SSO

Each new device or application adds to an organization’s attack surface. With Extended Device SSO, users are protected by a hardware-bound session that permits access to apps with fewer authentication prompts – enabling employees to get to work safer and faster.
