Okta is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Director of Global Partner Marketing to lead our worldwide partner marketing strategy and execution. This pivotal role will own the vision and roadmap for engaging our diverse ecosystem of Global System Integrators (GSIs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), as well as Okta’s overarching global partner marketing programs and operations.
In this role, you will be instrumental in accelerating partner-driven pipeline and revenue by owning our better together storytelling and co-marketing demand plans that deliver on our joint go-to-market objectives. You will work in close collaboration with regional partner marketing teams to ensure seamless and scalable execution of global programs, supporting impactful multi-partner engagements. You will also work closely with Okta’s Partner leadership team to convey the value of our partner and partner marketing programs as a key growth driver. By collaborating closely with enablement, this role plays a vital part in accelerating sales and achieving our collective goals with partners
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and drive the overarching global partner marketing strategy, encompassing our GSI, CSP, and ISV routes to market, as well as our core global partner programs and operational framework.
- Work with product and product marketing counterparts to establish partner value propositions, messaging and benefits
- Grow the global partner demand generation function to accelerate partner-led opportunity creation, collaborating and collating all efforts at a regional level that drive global partner performance and reporting on ROI
- Align with Global Partner Sales, Field Sales and Field Marketing to ensure partners are deeply interwoven with our GTM plans, sales plays and campaign execution
- Work closely with marketing operations to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of global partner marketing programs and initiatives,
- Create and maintain strong relationships with marketing leaders of our most critical partners.
- Oversee the strategic allocation and management of the global Market Development Funds (MDF) budget, ensuring effective utilization and reporting on program ROI across regions.
- Collaborate with Strategic Events to organize and deliver partner events including Partner Summits, Conferences and Advisory Councils
- Mentor and grow a team of top partner marketing talent
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 10+ years of experience in partner marketing within the SaaS industry, with a focus on global strategy and execution.
- Deep understanding of GSI, ISV, and CSP business models and their go-to-market strategies.
- Proven success in developing and implementing impactful global partner marketing programs that drive measurable results.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with regional field and partner marketing teams to drive consistent execution across geographies.
- Core marketing fundamentals including demand generation, account-based marketing and journey creation
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Up to 30% travel may be required

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$232,000—$348,000 USDWhat you can look forward to as a Full-Time Okta employee!
