As a Technical Program Manager on our Asset and Vulnerability Management team, you'll be instrumental in driving critical security initiatives. You'll partner with diverse cross-functional teams, from engineering to operations, to design, deploy, and operationalize essential asset, infrastructure, and vulnerability management controls. Beyond technical execution, you'll be a key storyteller, developing compelling communications, reports, metrics, and dashboards that showcase the health and progress of our Asset and Vulnerability Management Program.

What You'll Do: Drive Impact and Innovation
- Lead Complex Programs: Take a hands-on, proactive approach to managing large-scale, intricate security initiatives across multiple teams. This includes expertly managing dependencies, removing blockers, defining clear timelines, communicating commitments, and driving process efficiencies.
- Foster Collaboration: Champion effective teamwork, communication, and commitment across diverse groups with competing priorities, ensuring seamless alignment.
- Mitigate Risk: Proactively anticipate and mitigate program risks by staying closely involved with strategic team goals, understanding potential delivery challenges, and applying your experience with a "big picture" mindset.
- Develop New Processes: Lead the creation of innovative processes that benefit security teams and support broader cross-organizational initiatives.
- Communicate and Report: Develop and distribute insightful program reports and targeted communications to raise awareness about program progress, upcoming activities, and organizational change management.
- Measure Success: Develop and maintain robust performance metrics to provide clear, data-driven insights into program status.
- Drive Transparency: Collaborate across Okta to enhance transparency regarding Product Security enhancements and initiatives.
What You'll Bring: Your Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science,or equivalent practical work experience.
- Program Management: 2-3+ years of progressive technical program management experience, specifically within large-scale SaaS/Cloud environments.
- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Security Domain Knowledge: Deep working experience with Security and/or engineering teams, coupled with a solid understanding of technical terms and concepts used in information security, privacy, risk assessments, and contingency planning.
- Development Methodologies: Familiarity with modern development methodologies, including the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project delivery lifecycles.
- Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Atlassian products, particularly Jira Software and Confluence.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a knack for innovation.
- Communication Prowess: Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Independent & Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Bonus Points: Stand Out!
- Certifications: Program Management Professional (PMP) or relevant security certifications (CISM, CISSP, CISA, etc.).
- Okta Familiarity: Prior familiarity with Okta products.
- Specialized Background: A background in asset and vulnerability management lifecycle controls.

Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP with a match, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
