About the Role

We are seeking a high-impact Partner & Alliances Presales Architect to join our team of identity security experts. This hybrid role blends customer-facing solution architecture with strategic partner enablement, enabling Okta to scale through partners while delivering value in complex enterprise opportunities.

Reporting into the APJ Office of the Field CTO, this role represents a strategic growth lever for both direct and indirect sales motions. You’ll contribute to some of the region’s most critical opportunities by combining your expertise in identity security, your partner ecosystem knowledge, and your ability to craft architectures that align with business priorities. You’ll serve as a regional multiplier, influencing internal teams, partner architects, and enterprise stakeholders toward a secure, modern identity fabric.

*This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our San Francisco, CA HQ office during the first week of employment.

  • Partner & Ecosystem Enablement
    • Scale technical capability across partner tiers through enablement sessions, co-innovation sprints, and solution pattern development.
    • Guide partners during deal registration, Stage 0/1 opportunity qualification, and complex architecture definition.
    • Act as a mentor and overlay architect to SEs, guiding them through Okta’s best practices and roadmap.
    • Support partner-led POCs, build joint win stories, and develop reusable technical assets aligned to regional industries.

    • Address regional compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, RBI, CERT-In, DPDP Act) and navigate micro/macro-economic factors affecting IT budgets and workforce needs.
    • Represent the company as a technical leader at customer meetings, industry events, and webinars.
    • Create and deliver a region-specific, identity-centric security narrative that incorporates industry trends, regulatory considerations, and the evolving threat landscape, while addressing macro/microeconomic headwinds and tailwinds impacting key industries.
