As Director of Product Management, Brad is responsible for Datadog’s Application Performance Monitoring (APM) product, including Distributed Tracing, App Analytics, and Code Profiling. APM was Datadog’s first product expansion as the company evolved from cloud infrastructure monitoring to monitoring both infrastructure and applications.
Since APM’s general availability three years ago, numerous new features, capabilities, and tools have been released, showing consistent product development in response to customer feedback. Brad provided the leadership necessary to direct product vision, expand customer relationships, and inspire teammates in a way that has had a significant impact on the success of Datadog APM.
Why he’s an Up-and-Comer:
Taking responsibility for APM within Datadog’s existing platform, Brad effectively established a new and innovative product suite. He built his Product Management team from the ground-up, and led the product to significant revenue growth and customer adoption.
Brad and his team led a highly differentiated offering, addressing the use cases of an entirely different segment of the monitoring market that expands from technical operations teams to application developers. His efforts have helped the company successfully expand into a mature market.
