Okta Named Among Forbes’ Top 100 Cloud Companies

It’s been an exciting month here at Okta. Fresh off of Oktane16, our most successful customer conference yet, Forbes named Okta among the magazine’s Cloud 100, its first-ever ranking of the leading private cloud computing companies in the world. It’s exciting to be ranked No. 15 in this list of impressive names – leaders in every industry, from security to accounting to construction, we’re joined by formidable talent, including some of our partners: Slack, Dropbox and more.

As Forbes Editor of the Cloud 100 list Alex Konrad puts it, “Cloud companies are revolutionizing how businesses reach their customers today from digitizing painful old processes to allowing them more time to focus on what they really care about—what makes their products unique.”

Cloud computing has transformed how we incorporate technology into our businesses, and in fact the reason the Cloud 100 list is around is because businesses en masse are moving to the cloud. But, for those organizations that are using all those services, there is a distinct need to manage and secure all those innovative cloud services – and that’s where Okta comes in.

We are proud to not just be part of the Cloud 100, but to help enable companies use all the technologies honored in the list. Cheers to The Cloud 100!
