What to Look Forward to at Oktane19

Attendees from 36 countries. 3.4K social media posts. 72 customer speakers. 7 product announcements. These are just some of the highlights from last year’s Oktane conference in Las Vegas. This year, we’ve brought Oktane home to San Francisco, where we will host thousands of industry leaders from April 1-4 at the Moscone Center.

At Okta, we’re getting ready to welcome IT and security professionals, product leaders, and app developers that will come together to explore various topics related to identity, security, and digital transformation. Focused on helping unlock your potential, Oktane19 will have a fantastic roster of speakers, opportunities to connect with Okta professionals, on-site training with our experts, and so much more.

Expand your professional network

Oktane19 has been designed to maximize learning opportunities while facilitating engagement with experts and leading service providers in the fields of IT, security, and identity. One of our favorite areas at Oktane is the Expo Hall, where you can engage with our partners, ask questions at the Okta Expert Bar, and meet our Customer First Team face-to-face at the Okta Hub. These interactions will set you up for success beyond the conference by providing insight and advice that you can bring back to your organization.

In the Expo Hall, we’ve also set up a Headshot Station where you can get a shiny new photo for your social profiles.

Get inspired by world-class speakers

Oktane would not be what it is without a stellar cast of customer, partner, and industry-leading speakers. This year’s guest keynotes bring a wealth of insight and include Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web; award winning actress, Viola Davis; Frank Abagnale, a renowned cybersecurity and fraud prevention expert; IBM executive, Michelle Peluso; and the founder and CEO of Twilio, Jeff Lawson.

These inspiring individuals are supported by a roster of Okta keynotes and customer speakers sharing their views on identity, security, and more. Whether you’re an IT leader responsible for securing access across your enterprise or a product manager building groundbreaking digital experiences for your customers, our 60+ sessions and labs covering security, application development, access, and industry thought leadership will have something for you.

Make the most of San Francisco with Spousetivities

If you’re bringing somebody along, we’ve got you covered! From March 31 to April 2, we will be hosting Spousetivities for anyone traveling to San Francisco for Oktane19. Parents, significant others, kids, and colleagues can all participate in Spousetivities to make the most of their trip. From an exclusive wine tour at EJ Gallo’s William Hill Estate and Louis Martini wineries to a whale watching day off the pier, these activities will give you and your guests a real taste of what the city has to offer.

Know your kids are “secure”—and having fun

With your family in mind, we are also pleased to provide child care for children aged 6 months to 12 years. Available on April 2-3, and just $50 per day, the child care program will be run by Big Time Kidcare at the InterContinental, mere steps away from the Moscone Center. If you’re interested, please help us provide the best possible service for your children by registering before the event.

Enjoy San Francisco

We are so excited to host Oktane in our hometown, and we hope that you take the time to enjoy the city as much as we do. Besides its iconic landmarks and ocean views, San Francisco hosts some of the best chefs in the country, many of which are located near the conference center. You’ll also be immersed in the largest and most vibrant tech ecosystem in North America. We hope to see you soon!
