Miro + Okta: An Automation Win for Your Business

People create and exchange confidential, valuable information in SaaS tools daily, and admins are responsible for managing content from tens of teams and hundreds or thousands of users. That means IT teams need to support new, hybrid ways of working to maintain secure and efficient collaboration.

To support this growing need, Okta and Miro collaborated to build the Miro Connector for Okta Workflows, available to customers in the coming month.

Be one of the first to set up Miro’s Connector for Okta Workflows by joining our December webinar, featuring Okta’s Director of Technical Strategy, Matt Egan, and Miro’s Enterprise Group Product Manager, Nakul Jamadagni. According to Okta’s latest Business at Work report, Miro is one of the fastest-growing productivity apps. As the leading visual collaboration platform, companies use Miro across teams and functions to efficiently collaborate across departments, time zones, and locations.

When Miro is integrated into Okta’s identity-centered ecosystem, IT teams can easily manage at scale along the company’s other tools. Onboarding and access to Miro happens with a few clicks, simultaneously with access to all the other tools employees and partners need. The Miro Connector for Okta Workflows goes even further and opens the door to a range of deeper automation in license provisioning, user onboarding, and security controls. The result? Giving all end users the right access to do their work how they want, when they want—with negligible added work for IT.

Automation helps work flow seamlessly

IT organizations need to ensure security and productivity are in balance. With Okta Workflows, companies can automate processes at scale to focus on what matters most for their business.

  • Boost innovation: Focus on what matters to your business by minimizing friction and manual processes.
  • Get it right — the first time: Use automation to avoid mistakes and reduce the number of IT tickets. Users join quickly and easily, eliminating the wait time for real collaboration to begin.
  • Secure collaboration: Adapt security settings and access to IP with ease. Teams can collaborate within the organization seamlessly and securely, whether stakeholders are internal or external.
“For many of our customers, Miro has become core to their daily operations and collaboration across teams and initiatives, and growing this value with Okta Workflows is a natural next step to provide them new capabilities and a better experience,” says George Kwon, SVP of Product of Okta. “Together, we can automate core IT tasks and ensure collaboration is secure at every step of their workflow."
