Okta is looking for a Senior Leader to lead the partners and alliances ecosystem in ANZ.
The Partner & Alliances Team’s charter is to own the relationships and business development activities with Okta’s partners in the ANZ market, and therefore be a significant contributor to Okta achieving its growth expectations in the region. Okta’s GTM strategy in ANZ is a “Partner First” Strategy and this team plays a critical role in the successful execution of that strategy.
You will lead Okta’s engagement across all routes to market, including: distributors, global consulting partners, systems integrators, technology alliance partners and value-add resellers. You must also have demonstrated experience working with CSPs, in particular, AWS and work closely with our CSP Director to grow that business.

- Build relationships and trust to drive mindshare with the partners in ANZ, in particular, with our Focus Partners. These partners represent a large part of our business, are the most strategic and have the highest potential to grow with us.
- Inspire, lead and coach a team of highly experienced partner managers. You have the ability to attract talent, develop, motivate and raise the bar for every individual on your team. Currently there are four direct reports. You will also work closely with several other team members who support the partners, but who report into their respective functional teams.
- Sit on the APJ Partner leadership team, contribute to overall ANZ Partner Strategy and be prepared to lead special initiatives or programs in ANZ.
- Champion a "partner-first" culture internally, ensuring that partnerships are a core component of our go-to-market strategy.. You are able to stand your ground and artfully push back, when necessary.
- You will collaborate tightly with the ANZ country manager and the segment sales leaders by aligning the partner GTM strategy with the overall ANZ sales strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as pre-sales, customer success, professional service and marketing to help drive and support the partner business.
- Key business outcome metrics include partner sourced leads and deal registrations, partner accreditations and certifications and teamed partner opportunities. Post sales activities focused on customer success such as service delivery, adoption and high renewal rates are equally important.

- Strong executive presence and gravitas, have a network of C-level executive relationships across a portfolio of partners.
