Get started with Okta for nonprofits

Hundreds of nonprofits rely on us to securely connect to the technologies and services that let them carry out their missions. To help in each organization’s endeavor, Okta is proud to offer every nonprofit 25 licenses to use all IT products for free, for life. Nonprofits with 25 employees or less, can start right away with Okta by contacting sales. Larger nonprofits have the opportunity to try Okta for free for their entire organization for 30 days.

About the program

How nonprofits benefit from the Okta Identity Cloud:

  • Improve user productivity with SSO across all devices
  • Extend Active Directory or LDAP to the cloud
  • Increase visibility with centralized logging and reporting
  • Trial run an external portal for customers or partners

Eligible organizations:

Okta for Good has partnered with TechSoup to help review and validate the software donation requests that we receive. To be eligible, your organization must be registered with the local TechSoup partner in your country and be validated as a nonprofit organization. Please refer to TechSoup’s country-specific Eligibility Guidelines before applying.

After the 30 day trial period:

Okta can offer any qualified nonprofit organization up to 25 free licenses for Okta IT products. Any users/products beyond that will receive preferential pricing. Nonprofits are also eligible to receive 50% off public training courses.

Most of our staff is working at a remote school partner site. It was incredibly important for all of our AmeriCorps members and staff to have access around the clock, and to have it be seamless. Okta was the piece that pulled it all together for us.
