Okta Powers Simpler, More Cost-Efficient IT Strategies for Nonprofit Organizations

San Francisco, CA - January 29, 2015Okta today announced that it has grown its nonprofit customer count by more than 100% year-over-year, enabling organizations to leverage its identity and mobility management service to increase user access, simplify IT management and reduce technology costs in support of their philanthropic efforts.

Many nonprofit organizations, including Rotary International, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, National Geographic, City Year and Girl Scouts of America, rely on Okta to make their IT departments more secure and efficient amid budget and resource restrictions. LLS, for example, works with Okta in support of their mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS has integrated Okta into their IT infrastructure as an integral part of their shift to cloud and mobile services, enabling them to quickly and easily provision the more than 2,000 users that access their cloud-based tools all over the world in a cost-efficient way.
