Doubling Down on Okta’s Commitment to Nonprofits

Okta took the 1% Pledge in 2016, launching Okta for Good and directing a portion of our most valuable resources — equity, people, and products — back to the community. Since then, Okta for Good has committed more than $7.5 million in product licenses to nonprofit organizations around the world.

Making our technology more accessible to nonprofits is enormously valuable to those organizations and to the vast communities they serve. To that end, we’re proud to announce that Okta for Good is doubling the number of donated licenses for Okta’s Workforce Identity products from 25 to 50. Eligible products include Single Sign-On, Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication, Universal Directory, and Lifecycle Management. Nonprofits will also receive a 50% discount on any additional Workforce Identity products and licenses.

It’s simple: 50 free, then 50% off.

By doubling our product donation commitment, about 80% of the world’s nonprofits can cover their entire staff with Okta’s Workforce Identity products for free. Our intention is to radically accelerate every organization’s ability to safely use any technology.

To be eligible for this offer, organizations must hold current 501(c)(3) status in the U.S. or their country's equivalent, as validated by our partner TechSoup. Hospitals, health care organizations, public K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, and government entities are not eligible for this offer. Current nonprofit customers are also eligible for this offer upon their next renewal. More details are available here.

We hope you share our excitement about the impact and transformation that this new commitment unlocks. Contact us to learn what Okta can do for your nonprofit.
