As VP of Global Government Affairs and Public Policy at Okta, Jim’s team leads the company’s public affairs and policy strategies. Jim's 25-year career has focused on the intersection of policy, politics, and nonprofits. He is passionate about driving a greater partnership between the public and private sectors to solve challenges. In 2013, he founded the nonprofit Tech4America, which builds bridges from Silicon Valley to public leaders to tackle our biggest challenges. Jim is also the executive sponsor of the Okta’s Employee Resource Group — People of Collective Culture. Jim and his family live in his native Oakland, CA. He is also a golf and basketball enthusiast.
