How it works

1. Get started

Sign up by sharing some basic information about you, your interests, and your expertise.

2. Receive relevant invites

We’ll only send opportunities that fit your profile. You may be invited to participate in interviews, product or usability tests, surveys, and more.

3. Participate in activities

Once you accept an invitation you’ll receive instructions for how to participate.

  • Some activities are virtual and are scheduled with a researcher at a time that works for you. We’ll send instructions to help you participate.

  • Other activities, like surveys, can be completed on your own in a given timeframe.

You’ll typically receive a thank-you gift a week after completing your activity.

Frequently asked questions

No, you don’t have to be a current customer to join our panel. We’re interested in speaking with a variety of people, including customers, people who use our products, and those who don’t!

Incentives for participation vary from study to study, including gift cards, Okta swag, a donation to a charity of your choice, or early access to new Okta features and functionality.* Details are provided in study invitation emails.

Your personally identifiable information (PII) is solely used to communicate with you about research opportunities and activities (e.g., recruiting, scheduling, and sending awards for participation). We never share or sell your personal information for any reason. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details. 



Study times vary. Surveys and other asynchronous activities are typically less than 30 minutes. Live sessions are usually 30-60 minutes each.
