Join Okta’s Sr. Product Marketing Manager of Mobile for our First-Ever: Ask Me Anything
Last month, we unveiled the new Okta Community, a central location for our customers to engage in peer-to-peer interaction, and this Thursday we’re kicking off a new series, Ask Me Anything (AMA). Similar to the popular Reddit conversations with celebrities and public figures, this series will be a set of virtual events where our very own Okta experts will answer your questions, live.
(And hey, you might even win free event passes to Oktane15 for being part of the conversation.)
Here’s a quick breakdown of what to expect in our first session:
Who: Our first host will be senior product marketing manager Arturo Hinojosa. Arturo has more than 15 years of experience in product, sales, and services roles working at numerous technology companies, including Desktone (acquired by VMware), Time Warner Cable/NaviSite and FIS. In addition to being our inaugural AMA host, he’s a frequent Okta blog contributor providing insight into Okta’s mobile services.
Date: Thursday, October 15Time: 10am-12pm PTLocation: “Tips, Tricks, and Hints” group in the Okta Community. (Don’t have a profile? Create one here.)
Really… Anything?!: Yes! Though it’s worth noting Arturo’s biggest areas of expertise (ones you’ll be sure to hear about throughout the AMA) include mobility management, multi-factor authentication, security best practices – and of course, how Okta continues to innovate in all three areas.
In addition to his passions at work, you may also find out how Arturo lost last year’s Okta shrimp eating contest (by one shrimp…) or come away with his killer cheesecake recipe. (Fun fact: He used to be a pastry chef!)
Bonus Materials: For our first AMA, we will be giving away a free pass to Oktane15! To enter, simply log on and ask Arturo a question on the Okta Community. We’ll announce the winner at the close of the session. And for the latest information on Oktane15, our list of keynote speakers and the conference agenda featuring sessions including “Best Practices for Deploying Okta Mobility Management,” “Okta Mobility Management + Android for Work,” and “Busting the Myths of IoT and Explaining the Role of Identity,” visit https://www.okta.com/oktane15.
Can’t join the conversation this time around? You can also submit your questions via Twitter using the @okta handle or post them in the discussion beforehand. And be sure to check back here next week when we will share a full recap of the best questions and takeaways from the event!
