Las Vegas and the Aria weren't the only places powered up by Oktane15 last week – social media was also abuzz with observations, insight and energy from our third annual user conference. In case you didn't catch it, here are the highlights, told in tweets:

To kick off, CEO Todd McKinnon took the stage, where he unveiled a series of upgrades to our mobility management, provisioning and Okta Platform offerings. John Herbert from 20th Century Fox later joined Todd to discuss strategies for creating a seamless experience for employees, partners and customers.

The announcements during Oktane15 didn't stop there. Google announced Okta's inclusion in its new Recommended for Google Apps for Work program.

On Day 2, COO and co-founder Frederic Kerrest highlighted customers and partners – including Dish Network, ServiceNow, MGM Resorts International and Deloitte – bringing them on stage to discuss cloud-first IT and building digital businesses.

Our own Krista Anderson, chief customer officer, took the stage to share what customer success means at Okta and to announce this year's Oktane Award Winners.

Bill Nye the Science Guy closed the show, discussing everything from sundials and hot lava monsters to climate change and changing the world. Fun fact: his mother worked on the Enigma machine during World War II.
