Simple and secure user experiences: The latest on Okta Customer Identity Solution

Customer expectations are higher than ever, including access to the applications they need from any device, wherever they are in the world. Businesses are pivoting towards solutions that provide enhanced flexibility and user convenience to meet those demands. Nearly 60% of users would likely spend more at ecommerce sites with simple, secure, and frictionless login.

To that end, we’ve released a few key features on Customer Identity Solution this quarter that make it easier for organizations to deliver these convenient experiences to their customers.

  • Keep Me Signed in:  This feature enables a streamlined Okta Sign-in Widget flow when signing in to Okta with a trusted browser. By implementing Keep Me Signed In (currently Generally Available), customers can bypass repetitive login steps, enjoying uninterrupted access to their accounts while providing authentication security.

  • Multiple Identifiers: Enhancements to the Profile Enrollment Policy allow you to create custom profile attributes for a simpler sign-in policy. With Multiple Identifiers (now in Early Access), customers can personalize the user experience by defining their unique profile attributes for seamless identification.
  • Custom Languages for Okta Email Templates: Now admins can send Okta-generated emails in any language. This new enhancement in Early Access will increase admin flexibility and provide more options for multilingual users.
