Senior Technical Enablement Manager

The Senior Technical Enablement Manager educates internal Okta Customer First employees on core Identity concepts and Okta’s products by creating on-demand training videos, hands-on activities, and learning assessments. A successful candidate must have a strong background in technical curriculum development and creating innovative learning material for an internal audience, preferably at a SaaS company.

What you’ll be doing
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to establish clear project plans that define strategic business impact, scope, implementation, and success metrics
  • Independently manage the full development lifecycle of the program from inception through delivery
  • Work with subject matter experts to create appropriate enablement assets that are modular and flexible so they can be tailored to serve multiple needs including onboarding, and everboarding.
  • Adjust content to meet the needs of technical audiences with varying levels of technical depth and various stages of product maturity. 
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure that target roles are receiving the right training at the right time
  • Use data to measure program impact, identify needed updates & gaps across roles and develop resources to close them
What you’ll bring to the role
  • 5+ years creating technical enablement with proven ability to consistently deliver high-quality programs, on-time to meet desired business results  
  • Strong SaaS and Identity Management experience. 
    • 1 - 2+ years experience with identity protocols and/or full-stack software development; e.g. NodeJS, .NET, Java, etc. is a plus
  • 2+ years supporting customer-facing technical roles, such as professional services, technical account managers, technical support, or similar roles.
  • Significant experience building self-paced training using video or interactive eLearning.
  • Exceptional organization, writing, and communication skills 
  • Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives, achieve stakeholder buy-in, and make decisions
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and measure the effectiveness of enablement programs
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$114,000$172,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $128,000$192,000 USD
