Okta’s Go-To-Market Strategy & Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring Okta’s Field Organization has the right insight, tools, and processes it needs to run effectively and efficiently.  This specific role will work closely across all functions to transform our go-to-market capabilities through improved business processes and automation.  

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the evolution of Field processes and systems: create an inventory of core Field business processes, systems, and tools currently in use. Define a set of prioritized initiatives to streamline and automate said processes.  
  • Define the Field Process & Systems team strategy and roadmap aligning to the broader GTM overall strategy. 
  • Ensure each prioritized initiative meets explicit business metrics that deliver gains in field productivity, and/or customer acquisition/retention.
  • Create processes to help capture and prioritize all business processes, software, and systems requirements.  
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to prioritize projects, scope the requirements, and develop, design, and implement solutions across Sales, Pre-Sales, SalesOps, and Partners.   
  • Partner closely with the Business Technology team to ensure there’s adequate capacity to support agreed-upon initiatives.  
  • Provide transparency and manage expectations across teams.
  • Oversee overall program execution, including coordinating with enablement to drive change management and the successful adoption of improved processes and tools across the entire field organization.
  • Partner with our Governance, Risk, and Compliance team to implement and execute compliance processes for SOX, GDPR, etc.

Required Experience & Skills: 

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or IT. 
  • Deep understanding of the lead-to-support business process and supporting technologies
  • Must be customer-centric and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships
  • Comfortable working from limited information, asking new questions, and seeking new answers to old questions. Continuously seeks to improve and standardize processes, and systems, has and demonstrates a strong bias towards building systems, processes, tools, that scale.
  • Self-starter, excels in self-directing, solution seeker, seeks new opportunities, does things without being told, requires minimum supervision. Is consistently accurate, delivers high-quality work, and is on time. Looks for lasting results and long-term solutions.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$174,000$262,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $195,000$293,000 USD
