Role
As the Strategic Partner Initiatives Director, you will be a key member of the Partners & Alliances leadership team. Reporting to the SVP of Partners & Alliances, your primary responsibility is to align, drive, and report on our global strategic initiatives to drive incremental growth with the partner ecosystem. You will support and scale a Global Partner organization by planning and executing strategic initiatives that are in line with corporate, function, and departmental activities. This is a hands-on role that requires a self-starter with a strong project management background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Results
- Advance Market Position: Drive initiatives through Okta's partner ecosystem that advance our position in the market.
- Drive Growth and Opportunities: Work closely with GTM functions, Sales Ops, and IT to generate growth and new opportunities.
- Achieve Strategic Alignment: Ensure partner projects and initiatives are aligned with corporate and departmental goals.
- Deliver High-Value Outcomes: Manage and support the partner ecosystem to deliver valuable results for both partners and Okta.
- Scale Partner Operations: Effectively scale the Global Partner organization through strategic planning and execution.
- Track and Report Success: Develop and monitor success metrics to demonstrate the impact of partner initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting and delivering complex initiatives across multiple cross functional stakeholders.
- Proven track record of building and scaling partner programs that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies that leverage a diverse partner ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of various partner types, including System Integrators (SIs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and cloud ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to use data and Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.metrics to report on the success of initiatives and drive data-driven decisions.
Relationships
- Internal Stakeholders: You will work hand-in-hand with cross-functional departments including GTM, Sales Ops, and IT. A key part of your role is to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, present ideas, and gain priority for partner-focused projects.
- Partner Community: You will engage with Okta's partner ecosystem to manage, support, and drive initiatives.
- Leadership Team: As a key member of the Partners & Alliances leadership team, you will report to the SVP and play a crucial role in aligning the team's strategic growth initiatives.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington is between:$182,000—$250,000 USDWhat you can look forward to as a Full-Time Okta employee!
