At Okta, identity is at the heart of our mission—and Business Technology (BT) is the engine powering how we scale that mission internally. We are looking for a strategic and technically skilled GTM Solutions Architect to help shape and deliver the systems, processes, and integrations that drive success across our Sales, Marketing, Partners, and Customer Experience teams.
This is a critical role within the GTM Technology team that blends deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of go-to-market operations. You’ll partner with business and technology stakeholders to architect scalable, flexible, and impactful solutions that align to our strategic goals.
Position Overview
The GTM Solutions Architect will be responsible for evaluating business needs, identifying scalable technology solutions, and translating requirements into well-architected systems across our GTM functions. This role will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Business Analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to align technical designs with business objectives and ensure long-term platform scalability and stability.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Solution Architecture Leadership
- Lead end-to-end architecture for GTM systems (Salesforce, CPQ, Marketing Automation, Partner Portals), ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable designs.
- Define and implement architectural frameworks that align IT architecture with long-term business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
- Bridge business and technology to ensure IT investments support corporate strategy and operational efficiency.
Business Enablement & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Translate business requirements into robust, enterprise-grade solutions that enhance productivity across Sales, Marketing, and Partner functions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, BT Product Managers, and Engineering teams to define technical standards, frameworks, and integration patterns.
- Guide architectural decisions by partnering across business and IT functions to ensure alignment and execution.
Platform Evaluation & Technology Governance
- Evaluate and recommend platforms, tools, and frameworks for data integration, automation, and reporting.
- Establish governance by defining architectural standards, policies, and ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
- Build and deploy AI and machine learning frameworks—including AgentForce capabilities and Generative AI—for GTM use cases and driving automation initiatives that enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer engagement while maintaining a competitive edge.
Process Architecture & Optimization
- Design architecture for core GTM processes such as lead to cash, campaign to opportunity, order to provision, and partner onboarding.
- Oversee solution integration across enterprise SaaS applications to ensure interoperability, scalability, and performance.Continuously evaluate and optimize architectures to improve cost-efficiency, scalability, and system resilience.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify technical debt and proactively recommend modernization and simplification strategies.
- Enforce cybersecurity measures and ensure business continuity to mitigate IT risks.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, and compliance standards.
What You’ll Bring
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, or system implementation within GTM domains.
- Strong technical expertise in Salesforce Sales/Service/CPQ Cloud, Marketing Automation platforms, and Partner Portals.
- Proficiency with integration platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, or similar iPaaS tools.
- Define architecture for end-to-end processes like lead to cash, campaign to opportunity, order to provision, and partner onboarding.
- Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across business and engineering teams.
- Effective communication and documentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to technical roadmap planning.
- Familiarity with enterprise compliance, security, and data privacy standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise security programs across GTM systems.
- Involvement in M&A integration initiatives, with a focus on systems consolidation, data migration, and process alignment.
- Extensive expertise in designing and implementing AI frameworks, AgentForce solutions, and machine learning applications within GTM environments, including advanced capabilities using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and related technologies.
- Ability to assess and integrate AI-driven tools and platforms to enhance business performance and insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $224,000—$336,000 USD
Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
