Position Overview: We seek a detail-oriented and data-savvy Compensation Analyst to join our team. This role will be key in supporting our compensation programs and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in compensation practices, exceptional analytical skills, and expertise in Excel/Google to manage and optimize our compensation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly New Hire Equity Processing: Collaborate with the Stock Plan and People Operations teams to ensure the accurate and timely approval of new hire grants.  
  • Corporate Bonus Accruals: Assist in calculating and tracking corporate bonus accruals, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial requirements.
  • Salary Survey Submissions: Conduct and coordinate salary survey submissions to benchmark compensation against market data and support competitive pay strategies.
  • Regional Compensation Support: Provide consultation on regional compensation projects for North and South America operations. 
  • Analytical Projects: Perform various analytical projects in the compensation space, such as analyzing pay trends, evaluating internal equity, and preparing data-driven recommendations for leadership.
  • Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of compensation data across HR systems and reports.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the compensation team, People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and other stakeholders to provide insights and support on compensation-related initiatives.
  • Training and Communications: Develop training materials and content for the compensation intranet.  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in compensation or a closely related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with compensation tools and salary survey platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$83,000$125,000 USD
